• Missed class time - Whether the student has been out of the classroom for a week or a few months, a tutor can help the student catch up to where they need to be.
  
• Transferring schools - Each public school district and private schools work with different lesson plans and curriculum.   A tutor can help fill in the gaps when students move.
  
• Exam preparation - whether your student struggles with test anxiety or with study skills, their tutor can help with the dynamic they struggle with. 
• Home school - At times, when parents home school their students, there might be a concept or a subject that either is challenging to teach / explain. OR at times, your student might be having a difficult time understanding where their parent is coming from.  A tutor can reduce family drama by being a fresh face with different techniques and explanations.ADHD Coaching

Process:

• Family recognizes there is a need for tutoring services with their student.
• Family contacts office to inquire about tutoring services.
• Office staff connects family with a tutor that meets their specific needs.
• Family and tutor touch base over the phone (or e-mail), to discuss specifics about what the student needs, scheduling dynamics and what the student needs to bring to their first session.
• Student comes to sessions until the family feels the student has reached their goals.

Additional Details:

• All tutors are certified teachers.
• Tutoring is provided on site at our office, to avoid the feeling of "being at school" or to avoid distractions of the home environment. 
• Flexible hours to meet the needs of busy families

Fees and Payment Options:

Fees:

• 25/hour per student - for 3 or more students per tutor
• 30/hour per student - for 2 students per tutor
• 40/hour per student - for individual sessions

Payment Options:

• Families can pay each week, or pre-pay monthly basis. Cash, Credit Card or Checks
• Families who are being reiembursed by 3rd party, pay up front, office will provide a monthly receipt for families to submit.
• Families who have agencies who are paying for tutoring services, the office will bill them directly, monthly.  Authorization and paperwork must be filled out prior to tutoring.
